What makes a good tip?
A good tip typically involves a specific development in Swedish public life that has not yet been reported, such as a new policy proposal in the Riksdagen, a decision by the regeringen, or a local issue in kommunpolitik that affects many people. We also welcome leads on Wirtschaft, economy, culture, and society stories with clear Swedish relevance.
We look for material that serves the public interest: whistleblower accounts, leaked documents, data showing systemic problems, or firsthand witness reports. The most useful tips are well-sourced, include concrete evidence or clear directions to verify the information, and explain why the story matters to readers in Sweden and internationally. Even if you only have a fragment, send it to us — we can help fill in the gaps.
How should I send a tip?
Use tips@sacharchiv.de for general submissions, newsdesk@sacharchiv.de for time-sensitive stories, and press@sacharchiv.de for press releases or media inquiries. Please include a clear summary of the information, any supporting documents (PDFs, recordings, screenshots), and your preferred contact method if you are willing to be reached.
If you have a correction or an update to a published article, send that directly to corrections@sacharchiv.de with the article URL and the specific error. Our fact-checking desk, led by Anna Martin, handles all corrections under our corrections policy.
How do we verify tips?
Every tip we pursue goes through a verification process run by our standards desk under Anna Martin, who is responsible for fact-checking, source verification, and corrections. We use multiple independent sources, public records, and direct interviews before publishing any story.
Our verification steps include checking the credibility of the source, cross-referencing documents with official databases, and consulting experts where needed. We never publish a tip that we cannot verify to a reasonable certainty, and we always label uncertain information clearly.
Is my tip confidential?
Yes, we treat all tipsters with the strictest confidentiality. You can submit a tip anonymously using encrypted email or a secure drop if you prefer not to reveal your identity. We will not share your contact details with anyone outside the editorial team without your explicit permission.
Sacharchiv Media Ltd. is committed to protecting sources. If you request anonymity, our editors will discuss with you the level of protection we can offer and any legal limitations that might apply. We encourage tipsters to review our privacy policy for how we handle personal data.
What happens after I submit a tip?
After you send your tip, it is logged by our newsdesk and assigned to the relevant editor — Julia Weber (Redaktionschef) for daily news, Christian Schwarz (Politikredaktör) for political stories, Christina Kaiser (Wirtschaftreporter) for economic tips, or Oliver Winkler (Kultur- och samhällsredaktör) for cultural and social matters. You will receive an automated acknowledgment; if you provide contact details, we may follow up with questions.
We cannot promise to pursue every tip, but we review all submissions promptly. If we decide to investigate, we will inform you of our progress as far as confidentiality allows. Published stories always credit sources appropriately, unless anonymity is requested.
